Meet Dr. Sara Michel

Sara Michel, DDS

Over the past several years I have been very fortunate to work in such a wonderful community. Whether patients and families are new to the office or have been with us for a long time, it is always my pleasure to meet everyone. My hope is that when patients come to the office they feel like we take the time to know them on a personal level and truly care about not only their dental health, but overall health as well. We take time to listen and hear what patients are saying so we can understand how to best serve them.

Education and Continuing Education

Doctorate of Dental Surgery – University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, 2001

I am very excited to be able to provide the best and most comfortable care to my patients. I am currently taking continuing education courses through the Dawson Academy. This curriculum concentrates on the skills necessary to provide complete and more predictable dentistry. The main areas of focus are occlusion, the temporomandibular joint (TMJ), and complex/comprehensive aesthetic restorative dentistry. My goal in participating in continuing education is to be able to address more complex problems and to provide the best most conservative treatment possible.

Inside the Office

My goal is to make the patient feel as comfortable as possible while they are here, especially those who are anxious or fearful to come to the dentist. Giving a positive dental experience and helping someone smile again is priceless and really makes our day. Being a family oriented office gives us a chance to meet and get to know the whole family, and I really enjoy working with children. I give them the same patient and gentle care the I would give my own child. I have also spent a lot of time taking continuing education that focuses on occlusion(the bite) and cosmetics and being able to offer the best and most conservative treatment available. Outside the Office

I grew up in St. Paul, MN, and currently live there with my husband, Rick, and our two young daughters. In my free time I enjoy reading, running, cooking, and spending as much time with my family as possible.
